Australia's RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning), is a comprehensive assessment of current or past learning knowledge and work experience, and thus obtain the Australian authority certification in related fields.
No matter which of the following situations you have, RPL can help you!
1. There are opportunities for employers to sponsor immigrants, but the majors studied in the past have nothing to do with the positions of guarantees.
2. I want to start a business myself, but I don’t have the relevant qualification to meet the business license.
3, have a wealth of work experience want to work in Australia, but lack of Australian qualification certificate
4, apply to the university to reduce the credits to shorten the course time, but do not want to write homework
Is there a difference between RPL and full-time diplomas?
There is no difference at all! The diploma is accredited throughout Australia. RPL is the same as the full-time diploma. It is a diploma, a certificate of completion and a transcript from a real RTO (a government-approved registered training institution)!
Note: If the applicant has worked in a certain industry before having material proof and has acquired certain skills, experience and knowledge, then RPL is a shortcut. However, if the relevant experience is not available, the applicant cannot obtain the RPL diploma and needs full-time study to obtain it.
What are the advantages of RPL?
No classroom learning, no exams
Fast: The entire approval process is 4-8 weeks
Save money and save time, no need to go to training institutions
The qualifications obtained through RPL are all Australian and are widely recognized by the Immigration Department. Certificates are the same as certificates obtained through study.
Who can apply for RPL?
Simply put, anyone can apply for an RPL, as long as there is enough material to prove the existing knowledge, skills, experience and other relevant academic credentials.
How to apply for RPL
The RPL application process is very simple. You don't need to take classes or exams. You only need to provide past work and study experience materials. The certification materials can be: resume, employer letter, employment contract, work sample, work record book, shift record, training certificate, work photo/video, etc.
The following are essential materials:
Detailed resume, introducing the applicant's past work experience, education. The resume needs to include each course of the applied diploma, which can be matched by previous academic qualifications or industry experience. For example, the transcripts provided by the applicant cover the courses included in the RPL diploma, or detailed job descriptions, showing how the applicants participate in the industry activities and how they correspond to the corresponding courses.
A letter of recommendation from two industry recommenders is required, and the job functions described need to be consistent with the RPL compulsory and elective course content. The letter of recommendation needs to be signed by the manager, the supervisor or the person in charge of the company, with the referral contact information.
Proof of work related to RPL courses, such as risk management: providing workplace health and safety programs, analyzing workplace risks and hazards. Another example is: course fund management, a sample funding plan for the workplace, and employee assessment documents for the workplace.
